Savoie Mont Blanc Tourisme invited media and tour operators to a fun networking event on Tuesday 29 September, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm in London at Tanners & Co.  Savoie Mont Blanc Tourisme came with 10 partners: Arêches Beaufort,  Chamonix Valley, Châtel, Courchevel, Flaine, Lake Annecy Resorts, Maurienne Tourisme, La Rosière, Valmorel and a representative of the Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc (dog sledding international competition).

The program was: find out about winter 2015/16, eat, drink, and play games!

Spring atmosphere on the shore of a canal at the heart of London with Savoie Mont Blanc and 4 lake partners (from Lake Geneva, Annecy, Bourget and Aiguebelette) to present the offer. Two Savoyard breweries will be taking part to the event to promote the Savoie beers: Brasserie des Cîmes and Brasserie du Galibier. A good start for the summer season to also present family hikes, mountain biking, cycling, trail running…

Meeting of cycling editors in the UK

Since the victory at the Tour de France of Bradley Wiggins in 2012 and Chris Froome in 2013, cycling has become huge in the UK. Savoie Mont Blanc is a great destination for cycling with more than 100 passes and over 200 accommodation adapted to cyclists. From 15 to 17 April, Savoie Mont Blanc tourism with its PR agency will be visiting the cycling editors based in Bristol and Croyden – a total of 11 magazines in two days to promote the activity.

Retro Ski Party – Ham Yard Hotel - London

A new concept for the launch of the winter season this year: a networking party event putting together journalists, tour operators, and resorts of Savoie Mont Blanc: Les Carroz, Megève, Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise and Val Cenis Vanoise. Prizes were given by the resorts to the best retro ski photos of the participants! More than 40 people tuned up: good fun, good company, and good business during the evening.

Individual Meetings with Editors and journalists in London

After visiting journalists in Scotland last year Savoie Mont Blanc tourism organized some individual meetings with editors and journalists during 2 days in London. One major objective: presenting all what’s new in SMB for the coming winter season taking into the profile of the media and its readership’s needs – Waitrose Kitchen, Men’s Fitness, Fall Line, City AM, Online Telegraph, Easyjet Mag, Bthere…
